The Studio

Ambiguous by design

Rorschach Development is a small, independent studio making games about perception — how a single image, level, or line of dialogue can mean something completely different depending on who's looking at it.

We keep the team deliberately small so every person shapes the work directly. No layers of approval between an idea and the screen. No crunch culture propping up a release date. Just craft, atmosphere, and enough restraint to leave space for the player to fill in.

How We Work

What we won't compromise on

01

Atmosphere First

We design mood before mechanics. If a room doesn't feel like something, it isn't finished.

02

Player Interpretation

Good games are inkblots — ambiguous enough that everyone who plays them sees something personal.

03

Small & Sharp

We stay small on purpose. Every person on the team ships work that visibly matters.

04

Built to Last

No crunch culture, no chasing trends. We make the games we'd still be proud of in ten years.

We're a small team looking for obsessive people

If you care about craft more than titles, and atmosphere more than scope, we'd like to hear from you. We're not always hiring — but we're always looking.
